🟢 My Big Technology Framework - Part 1. Making sense of it all
For the next few weeks, I'm taking up the challenge of explaining all the mechanisms at play that lead a technological invention to become an innovation in the market. Which is probably more difficult than what physicists do when they try to explain the universe : )
Explaining how technology morphs into business is anything but straightforward. For years, I've read books about it, dealt with frameworks and 'best practices' with tech transfer units, corporate R&D, and startups just going gun-ho without second thoughts, and I never got a fully integrated and clear picture of what was going on.
I gained many insights and learned about literally dozens of academic takes on the subject, with prominent figures like Geoffrey Moore looming high above all this, but I always failed to reconcile everything in a grand theory of sorts truly.
So let's try to do that.
