Embodying your values
In this 5th video in the #emotionsatwork series, I am sharing a simple technique to help you rewire your thinking, re-evaluate a situation and upgrade your response to emotional events, whilst staying authentic and true to your values. It is about embodying your values even in the midst of emotional overwhelm.
In video 3 about choosing an approach for your emotional development, I mentioned the « changing perspective » approaches, well this « person of value » technique is one of them.
Also, in the last video about building emotional strategies, I mentioned that people could inspire you new behaviors, well this technique definitely is a good one for that.
